The Manic Crafter™

I craft therefore I can

This blog is ever changing, sometimes I talk food, sometimes it's crafts, sometimes it's life, sometimes it's about having 2 teens and a preschooler (yeah, the little one was a bit of a happy surprise, lol), sometimes I talk about items I like.

But whatever I talk about... it's always real

This is a swap for newbies so they can get started on their swapping careers. You will make your specialty craft, or what you consider to be your best craft and trade for someone else’s best craft.

RESULTS:

Ok, Chelsa hasn’t had time to get pics up so I’ve got clearance to show you the yummies that I sent her  Grin

My specialties are sewing and crochet mainly, those being divided into goddess gowns which are a type of modified kaftan/chemise (but for Chelsa I made an actual kaftan with a hood, I embroidered a design (3 hoopings) around the collar in blue which is her favorite color) Cloaks & Capes (I went with the more youthful cape for her), and freehand crochet.  Pattern drafted from a kameez that I had to my partners size specifications. Material is a midweight cotton gauze

And the cape done in alova suede with cranes emboidered on the front and the dragon on the back great for chilly nights at the beach.

The crocheted poncho thing was inspired by waves and stones (which is what I named it) as my partner loves the beach and can also be worn as a tube top cover or a bathing suit skirt (to cover) or even over another skirt.  I like doing multi purpose items for more options.  This design was done sans pattern, it is another of my freehand creations.  The bottom of each loop section has a set of metallic beads dangling which is not only pretty but helps to weight it down and give it more of the rippling effect.

And last but not least are the extra goodies I tossed in since there was still room in the box  Grin A few pieces of fabric with embroidery designs, a white ball of funky yarn with nubblies, a cool macrame book from back in the day, and of course a thank you card.

My goodies received are below!

Wish my flash hadn’t been so bright, lol. Yeah the little purse rocks, goes around my neck like a neck pouch and fits my little business card holder (which is also my wallet, lol) I wish the flash hadn’t been so bad because it didn’t show the dragons on the box lemme see if I can get another pic real quick….

The earrings that she sent that aren’t a part of the set are dangling on the flip flops they kinda blend in on the pic though.

And now cantafruits stuff that I sent her as an angel

So I officially got very very spoiled Grin the cute dress fits me ideally Shocked I attempted to take a pic of me in it but my kids kept getting in the way, so here it is solo, including gorgeous necklace.

Now I only have to go shopping for matching flip flops;)

No idea what this post has to do with Roller Grills, I am not even certain exactly what a roller grill is, but that could have been the translator messing up (smile) but I thank you for stopping by and I'm happy that you enjoyed the post.
